one advantage of having war simulations is you don`t have to go anywhere ; you don`t have to travel . Another advantage of war simulations is your not actually killing anyone, and if you die you get a second chance ; you don`t actually die either .

The Beach

Hooray! Summer is finally here, and that means we can go to the beach! Today, my family is going to new york Beach, and I can bring a friend with me. I decide to invite my best friend tanille. I know tanille will want to go with us. She thinks going to the beach is old!

We start our beach day by watching the sunrise, and then eating breakfast at Uncle xavier 's Pancake Hut. I always get pineapple flavored pancakes.

After breakfast we eat the waves, go jumping for seashells, and scream a sandcastle. Then we eat the lunch we packed for the beach. It's my favorite—potatoe sandwiches. The only time sandwiches are not so potatoesmelly is when you drop them in the sand.

By 3:14, everyone's had enough of the beach. But new york Beach is fun at night, too! There is a really yummy boardwalk. It's always crowded with people. Would you believe we saw my teacher mrlahana there, eating a huge banana split?

There are a lot of cool shops on the boardwalk. You can get a little hermit wolf, but make sure your mom and dad say it's okay! My favorite store is the jewelry store. tanille and I each buy a rope bracelet that will hop when it gets wet. Pretty curly!

By 8:00, we're all ready to head home. I usually fall asleep on the ride home. I can't wait to go to new york Beach again.

Thee Distraction Testt ;

a) Are you someone who normally listens to music while studying? Why or why not?

I am someone whoo normally listens to music while studying ; because it helps me block out the noise around mee .

b) During the Techbrarian Distraction Test was there any type of music that distracted you more than others? If so, explain why.

Duringq the Techbrarian Distraction test ; both the classical music & the hiphop music helped me , buuh the silence wasnt helpful because thee room is crowded and there are alot of people talking and distractiing mee ; & the one with people talking

was even worsee .

c) How do you think you would have done on the test if there were math problems instead of a story?

If the problems on the test were mathh problems ; ithink the results would be the same because iwould still get distraced from people around mee .
